Ol Pejeta Conservancy

On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our Roaming Duniya representative who will brief you on the safari. From here, drive to Sweetwaters Wildlife Sanctuary, a sumptuous ranch that was once the private domain of multi-millionaire Adnan Kashoggi. We will visit the Chimpanzee Sanctuary, a charming haven established by the Jane Goodall Institute to provide sanctuary for orphaned chimpanzees, and the specially protected and fenced refuge of black rhinos, home to stunning specimens. Sweetwaters boasts excellent game viewing, with the highest ratio of game to area of any park or reserve in Kenya. The camp has its own private waterhole and salt lick, ensuring close encounters with the wildlife. The view of a snow-capped Mount Kenya with an elephant in the foreground is one of Africa’s most iconic sights. Africa’s second-highest mountain (5199m), Mount Kenya offers awe-inspiring views, with forests, trout-filled streams, and game reserves that are perfect for those who may not wish to summit the peak. Unlike Mount Kilimanjaro, Mount Kenya is technically difficult to climb, though Point Lenana (4985m), which requires no climbing, can be easily reached by a fit hiker.

Lake Nakuru National Park
Lake Nakuru National Park was created to protect the lake and its flocks of Lesser Flamingos, drawn to the algae that flourishes in the saline waters of the soda lake. The national park is home to hippos, black and white rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, buffaloes, and elands.
